Assignment:

Write a 2 -3 page (single spaced, 1 in margins, 12 point font) report on the major social ethical concerns of your project based on the ACM code of ethics. http://www.acm.org/about/code-of-ethics.  Include at least one reference from the ACM digital library that addresses issues pertaining to your project related to the code.  Include at least one reference from the internet (not Wikipedia) that pertains.

If you are completing your project this semester:  discuss how the code impacts the completion of the project.

If you will be starting your project next semester: discuss how the code impacts the planning of your project.

Submit your essay to Dr. Wolz via email (wolz@tcnj.edu) by May 5^th.  You will receive a grade from her as follows:

4:  exceeds expectations

3:  meets expectations

2:  barely meets expectations (returned with comments to resubmit, your choice)

1:. Does not meet expectations resubmit

0:  Not submitted.

Your mentor/internship adivisor incorporates your grade at his/her discretion. You will receive an “IP” if you receive less than a “2”.
