Alphaboxes

Alphaboxes are done as you read the book.  They help you recall important names, places and words used in the text. As you read Because of Winn Dixie, try to find characters, places, themes, or vocabulary words for each letter. Find the most interesting and important words you can for each box. It is OK to have more than one word in each box.  These words and names will help when you are writing the final creative activity for this packet, so keep adding over the course of the novel!
