Bogus link

You've arrived at this page by clicking a bogus link.  The two fake links try to masquerade as legitimate links.  You can detect some bogus links by hovering over the link with your mouse cursor.  In the status bar of your web browser (usually in the lower left of the web browser window) you'll see the real link destination.  In this case the real destination is www.tcnj.edu/~it/security/Boguslink.htm.

This isn't always foolproof.  Some techniques can hide links completely or redirect you to a website that redirects again!  Be careful what you click and never click a link in an email message.
