LAKOTA
A six-year old Appaloosa gelding (when I bought him in 2004) who lets me
ride him bareback with just a halter and lead. I called him
"Moon Butt" when no one was around. He replaced Bubba
(Prospector) who I sold to Aspen Canyon Ranch in August, 2004.
Bubba was subsequently sold to the Latigo Guest Ranch near Kremmling in 2011,
and I donated Lakota to a therapeutic
riding program in Ohio. I still occasionally see both Lakota and Bubba, but
no longer have a horse. :-(
