My name is Tiffany Piatt and I am from West Paterson, New Jersey which is now named Woodland Park. I went to Passaic Valley High School where I first became interested in biology thanks to my biology honors teacher freshman year. She had such a large biological background and provided the class with so much more information. She became my favorite teacher and had her again as a junior for Advanced Placement Biology where I know that I wanted to pursue biology in college, and even farther. Gateway to Graduate School Biology has been an insightful experience into the different aspects of research.
