1.  The articles in the SET reader ( Updated 4 th edition, 2012 ) and the book Applying Moral Theories ( AMT ) by C. E. Harris, Jr., (  3rd edition )
                on reserve in the library under Dr. Edelbach's name,  listed below are to be read by the assigned dates found on
         Dr Edelbach's seminar schedule
 .

2.  Additional readings may be made throughout the semester as deemed necessary and appropriate.

3. 
You should review the "Focus Questions" as well as the "Keywords" associated with  each reading.  Be prepared to discuss the major concepts in class.

4.  A  READING QUIZ  based on the major concepts contained in each assigned article WILL BE GIVEN.  The quizzes will made up  primarily  of short answer questions.

5.  Students are permitted to consult their reading notes when taking a quiz but  the text book may not be used.  See seminar schedule for quiz dates     

6. Quiz grades will be factored into the "participation" category and the lowest quiz score WILL BE DROPPED.  There will be NO MAKE-UP QUIZZES  and NO EXTRA TIME will be given if a student  arrives after the quiz 
has begun.

7.  MAKE CERTAIN to note the specific pages assigned for each reading. You are not responsible for the entire Brooks article.
